Cloud-based monitoring
Falcon is a cloud-based monitoring system that transforms your emergency showers into IoT devices and automatically:
- Collects data from all your showers in real time – even across multiple buildings and sites
- Sends an alarm to designated employees’ telephones if a safety shower is activated and a coworker requires assistance
- Provides maintenance staff with alerts in the event of pressure drops or other system faults
- Gives teams online access to maintenance planning tools, such as shower sequence information, best route advice, checklists, and quick service tips
- Makes the collected data available to maintenance managers for quick and easy PDF report generation
The battery-operated IoT units are easy to install, with no cabling needed. They work with all shower types, including non-BROEN-LAB showers. The Falcon system
A complete Falcon system consists of just three components:
Sensor Modules and C1 Communication Modules
These modules attach to the piping at each shower. Working as a set, they collect flow switch, flow turbine , pressure, and temperature data from the shower and send this to the Falcon Data Centre via an independent 4G network.
The Falcon Data Centre
This cloud-based software comprises the “brains” of the system, coordinating alarm and alert activities while collating and storing data for maintenance planning and report generation.
The Falcon UI and Alarm System
Accessible via an app or web browser, the Falcon user interface provides staff with access to all data collected from the system, as well as maintenance advice and checklists. When a shower is activated, the alarm sounds on a user’s telephone even if the app/UI is not open.
