The BROEN-LAB Polyester Based Surface Treatment is our standard coating. The treatment provides the best protection against most chemicals, UV fading and heat, we have come across.
Furthermore, the surface is easy to clean, so that the taps, valves and regulators always look new and pretty despite decades of intensive use.
Distinct colours for guidance
A Polyester Based Surface Treatment can have any colour. All our taps, valves and regulators are light grey, while handles can be delivered in a wide range of colours, according to the European and the U.S. standards.
Do you like the look of steel?
When the industrial look is preferred, we recommend our Satin Chrome surface. It gives the taps, valves and regulators an elegant metallic finish and has excellent chemical resistance properties.
Satin Chrome coating
If Satin Chrome is not your style, we recommend our 9090 coating. Our 9090 coating is a 2-coat system, the 2nd coating makes the product more superior to chrome products. The 9090 coating can be delievered in any color you like.
The road to the ultimate surface
Many years ago, we gave up chrome as the surface treatment for our products. The surface deteriorated quickly when exposed to heat, chemicals and UV light.
The ultimate surface became the Polyester Based Surface Treatment, which proved to possess the right properties of resistance and being very friendly to the environment.
The Danish Technological Institute carried out a series of tests where a large number of chemicals were applied to the new surface along with the traditional chrome and epoxy surfaces.
The test confirmed that our surface treatment possesses the best properties of resistance to chemicals, heat and UV light in a modern laboratory.
